The Game
Crypto Crash - A chart goes up. You have to sell before it crashes. Simple concept, insanely addictive.
What Makes It Addictive
The core loop exploits the same psychology as slot machines:
- Variable reward - crash point is random
- Near-misses - could have held 2 more seconds!
- Loss aversion - bets make crashes feel real
- Streaks - daily bonus keeps you coming back
Tech Stack
- Pure HTML/CSS/JS (1735 lines, single file)
- Web Audio API for synthesized sounds
- Canvas 2D for chart rendering
- localStorage for persistence
- Zero dependencies
Try It
What timing games do you find most addictive?
